In May 2005, Wayne Triplett (principal of Mt. Pleasant Elementary School) and his son, Kevin, performed Creed's huge hit...Higher. Sadly, Kevin passed away in Nov. 2006 while battling osteosarcoma (bone cancer) for seven years.
